Against a dark background dotted with lights, a green circle dominates the upper 2/3 of the image. Natural light and water pour down from the circular opening. Three streaks of neon bright light cross the image. Two of the lines of light start in the middle of the left and right edges of the image. The lines extend to the back of the space. The lines are straight and angle toward the same point but the lines do not meet, stopping at a dark bronze colored wall. Another beam of light crosses at the top of the wall. This otherworldly effect frames the circle.

Artist Statement
The Contemplation Court with its fountain and light is a beautiful setting to let the experiences from the NMAAHC exhibit sink in. To see this powerful message from one of my personal heroes featured here triggered the urge in me to capture this particular phrase in right away with natural light and hand-held.
