Shadows create dark pockets in the tangle. The sharp edges of the photograph contrast with the curves of the antlers, which flow beyond the edges of the image.

Artist Statement
I love the combination of these antlers being both tangled and simple at the same time. The lovely contrast really caught my eye. Who would have known that I would appreciate this image even more now that I work at the Zoo and have grown to love animals and their beauty even more.
